THE CROWN:
Private Somatic Depth Coaching for Women at the Midlife Threshold
Limited to 4 women at a time
You're Exhausted from Being Who Everyone Needed You to Be.
And now, standing in the middle of your life, you barely recognize yourself.
The roles you've played—daughter, partner, mother, professional, caretaker—they fit once. But now they feel like costumes from someone else's life. Your body aches with the weight of decades spent meeting expectations, managing crises, holding it all together.
And beneath the exhaustion, something is stirring.
A voice that won't be silenced anymore. A longing you can't name. A knowing that this—right here, right now—is the threshold moment you've been unconsciously preparing for your entire life.
This is midlife. And it's not a crisis—it's your initiation.
The ancient Sumerian myth of Inanna knew this truth: to become whole, the Queen of Heaven had to descend to the underworld, release what no longer served her at each of seven gates, and meet her shadow. Only then could she return—transformed, integrated, bearer of deep wisdom.
You are standing at those gates. Ready to shed what's no longer yours. Ready to meet what's been buried. Ready to claim your power as the wise woman you were always meant to become.
This is private somatic depth work for women at the midlife threshold—ready to transform exhaustion into wisdom, confusion into clarity, and a life that feels hollow into one that feels fully, fiercely yours.
I hold space for four women at a time. That's all. This depth of work requires my full presence, attention, and intention—and I cannot offer that to more than four women simultaneously.
YOU ARE HERE BECAUSE...
You wake up tired—even after a full night's sleep. Your body hurts in ways that have no medical explanation.
The life you built—the one that looked so good on paper—feels hollow. You're going through the motions, but you're not really here.
Your marriage (if you're still in one) feels more like a business partnership. Your friendships have faded—or you've realized you don't even know who you are outside of being useful to others.
You look in the mirror and think: When did I become invisible? When did I stop mattering—even to myself?
The dreams are back—vivid, strange, insistent. Your body is screaming at you through symptoms you can't ignore anymore. Something inside you is demanding to be heard.
You've tried therapy. You've read the books. You've done the yoga retreats, the journaling, the positive affirmations. And still—something essential remains untouched.
You're standing at a threshold you didn't choose but can't avoid. Between who you were and who you're becoming. Between the life you built and the life that's calling you.
You're grieving: your youth, the dreams you deferred, the woman you thought you'd be by now, the time you can't get back.
And beneath all of it—the exhaustion, the grief, the confusion—there's a fierce knowing: This is not the end. This is the beginning of something you don't have words for yet.
You're ready to meet what's been buried. Reclaim what was exiled. Discover what lives deeply within you that's been waiting for this exact moment.
This is your initiation into the wise woman you were always meant to become. And you're ready.
WHY WHAT YOU'VE TRIED HASN'T WORKED
You've been in therapy. Maybe for years. You understand yourself better—you can trace your patterns back to childhood, name your triggers, explain your behavior.
But understanding hasn't changed how you feel in your body. And it hasn't changed how you're living.
You've tried coaching. Set goals. Made plans. Maybe even took action. But the changes don't stick because you're still operating from the same exhausted, survival-wired nervous system.
Here's what's been missing: your body.
Your shadow—the rage you've suppressed, the grief you've avoided, the wildness you've tamed—doesn't just live in your thoughts. It lives in the tightness of your throat, the weight in your chest, the chronic tension you carry.
Your unlived life—the dreams deferred, the creative fire banked, the woman you were told you couldn't be—isn't just a concept. It's held in your soma, in the movements you've suppressed, the sounds you've silenced, the aliveness you've shut down to stay safe.
You cannot think your way into wholeness. You have to feel your way there.
This is where somatic depth work becomes essential—and why it works where talk therapy and traditional coaching can't reach.
We work at the intersection of Jungian depth psychology and embodied practice. Your psyche speaks in symbols, dreams, archetypes. Your soma speaks in sensation, movement, breath. When we bring them together—when you stop just talking about your stuck places and start moving through them—everything shifts.
This is transformation through the living wisdom of your body. Not just insight. Integration.
You don't just understand yourself differently. You live differently. You feel different in your own skin. And the changes last because they're not just in your head—they're in your bones.
The Crown Path: BELONGING, BECOMING, BEING
-

BELONGING
Creating safety to descend.
Before you can meet what's been buried, your nervous system must know it's safe. We create belonging in your body—teaching your soma it can rest, feel, soften. You reconnect with your body as home, as the place where your deepest knowing lives.
This is nervous system regulation. Grounding. Remembering you belong to yourself.
-

BECOMING
Meeting the shadow, reclaiming the exiled.
Shadow integration. Welcoming back your rage, wildness, grief, creative fire, instinctual wisdom—everything you were told you couldn't be.
We work somatically: active imagination, movement, sound, creative expression. Your body shows us what your mind cannot access. The unlived life surfaces. The exiled parts find their voice.
This is the alchemical work of becoming the wise woman your soul knows you are.
-

BEING
Integration and return.
Wholeness. Living from your center—what Jung called the Self. The authentic woman beneath all conditioning.
You move through the world differently now. You trust your body's knowing. You speak your truth. You hold paradox—light and shadow, strength and vulnerability, wildness and wisdom.
You have claimed your throne as the wise woman. Integrated. Embodied. Whole.
HOW WE WORK TOGETHER
THE CROWN FOUNDATION: MINI-INTENSIVE
We begin with preparatory work and a multi-hour session where I teach you essential somatic practices and guide you through my SARA Assessment™ (Stress and Resiliency) and a few other exploratory activities. This becomes our roadmap—understanding where you are and what your psyche, soma, and soul need most.
BI-WEEKLY SESSIONS
90-minute sessions, fully customized. We begin with a deep check-in, then move into the work: somatic practices, active imagination, dreamwork, creative expression, breathwork, vocal toning, ritual. Your soma leads. Your psyche engages. We follow what's emerging.
BETWEEN SESSIONS
Voxer and email support. Customized practices tailored to your work. Full access to The Sacred Return membership resources and community.
THE COMMITMENT
Four months to build the container, go deep, and create lasting transformation. After four months, you can continue month-to-month. During your discovery call, we will discuss the investment, the commitment, and any questions you may have.
WHAT ACTUALLY CHANGES
-
IN THE FIRST MONTH
You learn to feel safe in your own body—maybe for the first time in decades. Your nervous system starts to believe it doesn't have to be on high alert 24/7. You sleep better. Your shoulders drop. You notice when you're holding your breath—and you remember you can choose to breathe.
You start recognizing the difference between what you actually want and what you've been conditioned to want.
-
IN FOUR MONTHS
Things that used to trigger you don't anymore—or you catch yourself before the old pattern takes over. You say no without guilt. You speak up without apologizing. You make a decision based on what you need, not what everyone else expects.
Shadow material surfaces—rage you didn't know you were carrying, grief you've been running from, desires you've kept buried. And instead of being terrified of these parts, you start welcoming them back. They're not monsters. They're medicine.
You move differently. Your body feels more yours. You trust your gut knowing in ways you never have before.
-
IN ONE YEAR
You barely recognize the woman you were when we started.
Not because you've become someone new—but because you've finally become yourself. The persona you wore for decades has fallen away. What's left is the real you: messy, powerful, alive.
You're making choices from your center—not from fear, not from duty, not from what you "should" do. From your actual knowing.
The relationships that couldn't handle the real you have fallen away. The ones that remain feel deeper, truer. You're no longer going through the motions of your life. You're present, you are alive, you are fully and wholly you.
WHAT BECOMES POSSIBLE
A woman came to me unable to trust herself—paralyzed by self-doubt that was costing her everything.
She couldn't speak up at work. Couldn't stand up to her husband. Couldn't let go of a dying friendship. Couldn't tell her adult child no. She was living everyone else's life but her own.
"I don't even know what I want anymore," she said. "I've spent so long doing what everyone else needs that I don't trust anything I feel."
I asked her to write: What has this lack of trust cost you? Then: What would self-trust give you?
We created a threshold on the floor—a literal line to cross.
On one side, she said goodbye to what she'd lost. Then something shifted in her body. Her arms rose, hugging herself. She knelt, touching the ground. She turned, blowing a kiss to what was behind her.
As she stood at the threshold, her shoulders dropped. Her head lifted. Her back straightened, stronger.
She stepped across.
"For the first time in my life, I know what it is to trust myself. I trusted my movement. I trusted my timing. I trusted my words. I trust me."
Within weeks, everything changed.
She spoke up in a meeting, clearly and without apology. She set a boundary with her husband, and he respected it. She ended the friendship that had been draining her for years. She told her adult child no—and felt relief, not guilt.
For the first time in decades, she started dreaming about what SHE wanted. Not what everyone else needed. Not what she "should" do.
Her own life. Finally hers.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT DOING THIS WORK
"What if I fall apart?"
You won't. We build the container first—nervous system safety, grounding practices, resources. You learn to regulate before we go deep. And I'm with you every step. This work doesn't destabilize you. It stabilizes you enough that you can finally feel what's been frozen.
"What if I discover I'm angrier/sadder/more broken than I thought?"
Here, we welcome all feelings and experiences. Anger, for example, becomes a friend, showing us what has gone wrong, when we’ve been wronged, what we need to do differently, and what we no longer accept. There is no feeling I haven't witnessed and held space for. Rage speaks to our experiences. Grief expresses love without a target. The shadow parts of ourselves hold our truth, our story, our sorrow, our longing, and our being. We do honor what emerges, without judgment and with compassion, and we welcome it back.
"What if this takes over my whole life?"
It won't. We meet bi-weekly for 90 minutes. Practices between sessions are 5-15 minutes. This isn't another overwhelming commitment—it's the thing that helps you stop being overwhelmed. You'll have more spaciousness, not less.
"What if I can't do this 'body work' because I'm not flexible/coordinated/good at that stuff?"
This has nothing to do with yoga or dance. You don't need to be flexible or coordinated. If you can sit, breathe, and move even a little, you can do this work. I guide you through everything.
"What if I'm not 'deep' enough or don't understand the Jungian stuff?"
You don't need to know anything about Jung or archetypes or symbolic language or dream work or any of it. I'll facilitate each and every session with you, and I’ll teach you what you need to know, when you need to know it. Here’s what I know: you're already deep enough—that's why you're here.
This work is for you if:
You're ready to descend—to meet the shadow, reclaim what was exiled, rediscover what lives deeply within you
This threshold is your initiation into the wise woman within, who is ready to rise and return
You're ready to partner with a guide who understands this territory of transformation
You have the inner resources and outer support to hold what emerges
You trust your body holds wisdom your mind cannot access
You're willing to speak the language of symbol, dream, archetype
You can tolerate the liminal space between no longer and not yet
This threshold is not for you if:
You're in acute crisis or need clinical intervention
You're looking for quick fixes or surface strategies
You're not willing to meet discomfort in service of transformation
You don't have resources to hold the depth of this work
You want to be told what to do rather than partner in discovering your own knowing
This passage requires readiness: Ground beneath you. Support around you. Courage to walk this path, trusting what you cannot yet see.
If you have these—and the call is undeniable—this is your threshold. I will walk beside you as guide and partner through every passage.
THE GUIDE
Sara Anderson, MA, LPC, CYT, HTCP
Psychotherapist & Somatic Depth Coach
For 25 years, I've guided over 2,300 women through the archetypal passages of transformation. My background integrates Humanistic and Transpersonal Psychology, Jungian depth work, neuroscience-backed interventions, expressive therapy, and somatic practices.
I created The SOMA Code™ because I kept witnessing what traditional approaches miss: your body remembers what your mind has forgotten. Transformation happens not through insight alone, but through the integration of psyche and soma, symbol and sensation.
This is my life's work—guiding women through the midlife threshold and into their truest self.
I only hold space for four women at a time in The Crown because this work demands everything I have to give. If you're one of them, I'm here.
YOUR NEXT STEP

This isn't a sales call. It's discernment.

You didn't come here by accident.
Inanna heard the call and chose to answer. At each gate, she released what she no longer needed—not violently, but intentionally. And when she returned, she carried the wisdom of both realms.
This is your passage. Your initiation. Your return as the wise woman.
You need a guide who knows this territory—who understands that midlife is not crisis but threshold, who speaks the language of psyche and soma, who can witness your descent and walk beside you as you rise.
This is your invitation to begin.
